JP's in the Community: A couple of weeks ago Renee attended a Business & Community Leaders Breakfast @ Thornlie Christian College. Here the dynamics of Social Media and Online advertising were discussed in length. A guest speaker from 'Bam Creative' spoke of ways to target your clients with the correct Social Media manner (especially via Facebook).  Approximately 30 Business people attended and it was a great event held by Thornlie Christian College in Southern River. (Thanks for the invite!)

APPA Convex: In late August Jarrod attended the annual Australasian Promotional Product Association’s (APPA) convex in Sydney where the 2012/2013 range of new Promotional Products were launched. Hundreds of new products, colours and styles will be available for Summer and Christmas.  Bags, pens, mugs, desk and technology based products were very popular. Here’s what Jarrod had to say about the new range launched at the APPA event in Sydney,

“The two most noteworthy points from the APPA show is that colour is ‘in’ with just about every new product released being available in vibrant colours like orange, yellow and various shades of green.  The second point was that printing methods have progressed significantly in the last 12-24 months.  Items, such as a basic can mug or pen can now be printed in full colour, some with metallics, opening the door for innovative designs which will capture the user’s attention.  This is great news for clients that have more than 2-3 colours in their logo or have full colour logos. These clients have previously had to use a mono logo in place of their traditional full colour logo on many small pad printed promotional products. This is not the case anymore, they have options, full colour tote bags are available, pens, mugs, travel mugs....and I am sure this list will continue to increase.”
