What is an EPS file?

Encapsulated Post Script. This is a file format that supports both PC and MAC images. EPS files are platform independent. EPS format is used to transfer Postscript language artwork between different programs.

EPS files, if opened in a vector-based program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, will have the ability to be resized without loss of quality, and will also be able to be easily edited and manipulated. If you open an EPS file in a program such as Photoshop, the file will be flattened and un-editable, similar to any .jpg file. JP Promotions prefers to work with eps files so that we can create the best artwork and finish possible on your promotional products.
