City to Surf

It’s that time of year again where Perth’s runners brave a cold winter’s morning in August to lace up and pound the pavement from the CBD, westwards towards City Beach and the Indian Ocean, for the Annual City to Surf. This year’s distance options include a 4km walk/run, a 12km walk, a 12km run, a 21km half marathon and the 42km marathon. Community Awareness - Stress Down Day

Friday the 27th July was ‘Stress Down Day’ which was a fun and easy way to reduce stress while raising awareness and funds for Lifeline. JP’s got on board and supported the cause by donating to Alyce Potter who was raising funds for Lifeline and organized a ‘Stress Down Day’ on Friday at the JP’s office.

What Is? – Pad Printing

Pad printing is a printing process that can transfer a 2-D image (a logo) onto a 3-D object. This is accomplished using an indirect offset printing process that involves an image being transferred from the printing plate via a silicone pad onto a substrate (surface to be printed). Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise impossible products in many industries including medical, automotive, promotional, apparel, electronics, appliances, sports equipment and toys. Common items that we sell at JP Promotions that are pad printed include water bottles, pens, compendiums, novelty items, keyrings and coffee mugs. Pad printing ranges in size in different industries however, in the promotional product arena, pad printing is usually found on smaller items such as those mentioned above with print dimensions up to 30mm x 40mm.

Alternatives to pad printing include engraving and screen printing.
