Previously, we did not have this facility available but as of 11th April we introduced this service and now accept Mastercard and Visa. If you are a ‘Rewards Point Addict’ or simply prefer to make purchases with your credit card speak to your Account Manager and they can arrange the transaction.

Please note that a standard credit card surcharge of 2% will be charged on all purchases paid via credit cards.

What Is? – Pad Printing

Pad printing is a printing process that can transfer a 2-D image (a logo) onto a 3-D object. This is accomplished using an indirect offset printing process that involves an image being transferred from the printing plate via a silicone pad onto a substrate (surface to be printed). Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise impossible products in many industries including medical, automotive, promotional, apparel, electronics, appliances, sports equipment and toys. Common items that we sell at JP Promotions that are pad printed include water bottles, pens, compendiums, novelty items, keyrings and coffee mugs. Pad printing ranges in size in different industries however, in the promotional product arena, pad printing is usually found on smaller items such as those mentioned above with print dimensions up to 30mm x 40mm.

Alternatives to pad printing include engraving and screen printing.

We have recently had significant upgrades to our website and have over 1000 items now listed on our site. We have constructed a very user friendly site with the standard ‘About Us’ and ‘Contact Us’ pages however, the ‘Products’ page lists from A-Z promotional items and clothing garments with detailed information including; features, colours, size range and preferred decoration style. We encourage you to use the site as often as possible as we believe that it is a fantastic first destination in dealing with us for new clients or new product lines.

There is now a search feature which can be found in the header and is fantastic for those that know item numbers or item descriptions.

Finally, we encourage clients to visit the ‘Artwork’ page from time to time which lists some important information regarding file formats. This is particularly important for clients that are purchasing promotional products or screen printing as we would like to re-create your brand to the highest of standards and this is not always possible with some file formats.

Industry News The following brands have recently had their annual price rise which affects all distributors including, JP Promotions – JB’s, Biz Collection, Boronia, DNC, Bisley, AIW and Aussie Pacific. If you have any concerns please contact your Account Manager. We endeavor to give the best possible price and service at all times and would like to be ‘up front’ with all our clients.

This year suppliers have had some significant price increases pushed upon them from manufacturers in Asia due to the significant cost increases from wage pressures, cotton shortages and natural disasters. This flows on down the line to distributors like JP Promotions and over the past 12 months we have absorbed the majority of price rises to accommodate clients and maintain price consistency. However, we are now at the stage where this is not sustainable and will be advising on brands that have increased their prices.
