Current News @ JP’s

Over the past 12 months we have had a number of people ask us, “What’s new?” for both Promotional Products and Uniforms. We have had a good think about this and have come up with a solution for the people that want to be first in the marketplace.

We have created two new links on the Home Page of our website which will display all new to market products for both Promotional Products and Uniforms. We highly recommend that you check-in occasionally to see what the latest trends are in both of these categories.

As soon as a new line of product is available it will be listed in both the standard, Uniforms or Promo Products (Orange tabs of the website) section, as well as the “New Brandable Workwear” or “New Promo Products” section which is accessible from the Home Page of the JP’s website.

What is Teflon®?

Teflon® is a registered trademark and a brand name owned by DuPont™, and is used on a range of products including woven garments. Teflon® is not a specific chemical. The Teflon® brand has come to represent a variety of benefits to consumers including easy clean and durability.

DuPont™ Teflon® Fabric Protector is a water-based fabric treatment process that provides protection against stains and soiling. Treatment with Teflon® Fabric Protector does not affect the look or feel of the original fabric. Teflon® fabric coating is used for both repellent and release purposes, meaning that it protects against stains by both preventing them and assisting in their removal from fabric.

How it Works

The repellent-technology variation works by keeping liquids from permeating the fabric, forcing them to bead and roll off instead. Release-technology fabric protector allows most water and oil-based stains to be removed during normal laundering without any trace.

No matter what you’re looking for, Teflon® fabric protector repel and release technologies can make every product perform its best. Teflon® fends off soil, stains and spills on cotton and blends without impacting the fabric’s weight, look, feel and colour. When products carry the Teflon® brand, you know they’re going to clean easier and improve durability that will last longer. These garments with Teflon® stay looking newer longer, and are easier to care for.

Garments treated with Teflon® fabric protector offer the following environmental advantages:

• Helps prevent the need to wash or spot clean (excessively) because liquids beaded up and rolled off. • Eliminates ring around the collar, reducing detergent use and repetitive washing. • Removes stains at lower wash temperatures versus untreated fabrics. • Allows fabrics to dry 25 percent faster than untreated fabrics using either tumble dry or air dry. Tips from JP’s

Promotional Products - When planning for your next campaign, product launch, expo, etc it is imperative to understand that the promotional product industry has varied lead times. For Australian sourced products it is generally accepted that you will receive your product within 3 weeks from artwork approval and deposit paid (cash accounts).

For customized goods that are produced offshore the general lead time is 10-12 weeks via sea freight and 6-8 weeks via air freight.

If you are able to remember these lead times for future campaigns then you should have timely delivery and smooth sailing!
